Artist statement
To enter a unknown room is exciting.

The rooms are versions of reality, we build walls around us to create a sense of security and to draw borders. In our rooms we collect items and meanings, tools to define ourselves. The rooms are fysical buildings but also constructions of rules, ideas and patterns of tought.

Working mainly trough installations, photography and video I investigate these rooms. I want to work as someone who asks questions. Preferably in a role that is like a researcher, but I still want to work in a way that touches and interests people. I am looking for different connections, a kind of understanding of the process rather than definite answers. What interests me is how one builds up their own reality, both materially and in terms of values. How these pictures of reality affect each other and often contradict each other. How that which is perceived as truth often is treated and under- stood as something definite.
